Congratulations, Lenina, it's not easy quitting or staying quit but it is one of the most worthwhile things you, and I, have ever done.

Congratulations Lenina!

I'm way behind, 10 months today I've quit.
I'll get to one year first...one day at a time just like alcohol

Lenina, that is so awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I needed to see this today. I know this can be done but it's helpful to see someone who's as far out as you and so happy about it.

Day 17 here

Tried vaping at first and then realized it wasn't for me. It was just prolonging me from reaching my goal which was being dependent on an action for relief. Plus, I did that from June through October and I can tell you that it still does crap to your lungs. Since I've been inhaling nothing starting early October the changes are incredible.

Thanks for posting, it helps so much!

Lenin's, congrats on 7 years.

I need to stop smoking I have tried and am back after 2- 3 weeks.

Need some good tips and support for quitting smoking.

Hey, H, Lenina posted this back in October of 2017. If you started your own thread you may have more luck with replies.

Good luck on your quit. I quit smoking and for me I sort of tapered back over a period of years...I stopped smoking everywhere other than work, then I cut that down to two cigarettes per day that I bought from other people, then I just quit.

The first two weeks were the only hard part for me. I had no excuses to get away from work stress. That's okay, I made it.

You'll be so glad.

don't mean to goof up people but i'm reading old threads thanking and marking them in a way that I know I read them and if there is some good advice I'd like to go back to.
