For the readers out there: Amazing free book that helped me quit

This book is incredible,
totally free. This really helped/helps me, perhaps it will help you as well.
http://whyquit.com/NTAP_large_print_212_pages.pdf Downloadable .pdf 1.5mb or if you go to that link on your iphone or smart phone you can read it from there directly! Very cool!

This book is from Joel Spitzers resource library:
Joel's Quit Smoking Library

Fyi: I know I may go on and on about Joel's resources, but I have to say I am enamored by someone who dedicates there life to help people stop smoking and provides so much free information and tips as a volunteer. It is really awesome and I hope one day to be able to help people like that.

It really is something else that this guy is doing all of this on a voluntary basis.

I've been known to praise Allen Carr's book but he obviously made a lot of money from his books and workshops, which I'm not knocking.

I wanted to help people with this too and contacted Allen Carr foundation to enquire about becoming a counsellor, but they made it very difficult to contact people or get any information that I gave up in the end.

Thank you.

I used Allen Carr's book to quit but I am sure the book you referenced would be equally effective.

Gum doesn't work. E-cigarettes don't work. The patch doesn't work. Chantix or other drugs sort of work but have bad side effects.

THE ONLY THING THAT WORKS IS COLD TURKEY. The books make it clear, the books help you understand the process. The books make withdrawal not only bearable but I found the sensation of saying NO to nicotine enjoyable.

If you don't quit cold turkey you aren't freeing yourself from nicotine.
