Oh my gosh .....I cannot believe that you started this thread vic....how did you know it was 2 months ???? I am in tears here... THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart....I am really speechless (which is rare for me)
I could not have done this without you guys and gals....I am so grateful for this site and all the support i get here...This is the longest I have been clean in 4 years.....I still struggle but I feel good and little gestures like this make me feel even better and give me the incentive to continue on my journey....
Thank you to each and everyone of you wonderful people who have listened, responded and shared your story.....and a BIG thanks to my pal Vic who inspires me daily.......

what a great day...I had this wonderful thread reminding me I am loved and that I have made it this far....I had a nice phone conversation with a new friend and I just found out that the little girl i have been babysitting part time will get to be here 4 days instead of 1 and 1/2 ...her mom called and said she wanted to switch sitters and asked if i would watch her.....I was flattered....
I mean ..she trusts me...her daughter loves me....what a great feeling and I am on a natural high and that too feels good.....
Thanks again you guys....for my struggles are your struggles as your struggles are mine......that is what family is all about .....the unconditional love....the tough love and the unexpected love.....

Thanks Hope. levi, scootin, upndown and c'est......i am gearing up for our garage sale ...i have soo many kids clothes my daughter is 6 and my son is 4...i have all there clothes from when they were born. toys all that so i thought I should do something about it. The kids are excited they want to have a lemonade stand..the money we make is going to be used on some remodeling of our house....
I figured since we have lived here 6 months we can start painting and stuff, we put a new toilet in our bathroom and it already looks better...stripped the hideous wallpaper off the main bath and just need to paint in there...
It reminds me of my recovery....one room at a time...just like one day at a time....
