30 Days For Me!!!!!!!!!
YEAH!!!! WOOHOO!!!!! YIPPEEEE!!!!!!!!!
What a glorious feeling!
I feel wonderful except for my sleeping habits are still not up to par. Hopefully my body chemistry will realize it doesnt have to be off kilter to fight alcohol anymore and will get back to normal.
I want to say thanks to everyone here. Whether you responded to a post I have made, whether I responded to one of yours', or whether yours happened to be one of the MANY posts that I have read over the last 30 days. They have ALL been tons of help.
I am getting my life straight, I think. I have enrolled back in school and have only 2 classes that I need to take to enter the RN program in Jan. I have yet to find a sponsor or a home group, but I believe that will be right around the corner.
LIFE IS GRAND SOBER!!!! I never knew, I never wanted to know. THANK THE GOOD LORD, I finally saw for myself the damage I was doing.

How Totally awesome Star, that is a big accomplishment and i am so proud of you, and we are all singing and dancing for you..we feel the happiness..we share in your happiness..it is great, congratulations..WHOOOHOOO is right!!!!!!!!!

I have 30 days today also! yeah!!!!!!!!! So I guess we have the same sobriety date and we will have to keep an eye on each other. I am happy about reaching 30 days, but I still feel rather cautious in my approach to life and this nagging little feeling hanging around that I am gonna screw up eventually.... hopefully later rather than sooner.......but nevertheless it's still there. Your post is inspiring. I look forward to the day when I can say that I am truly happy in my sobriety and no longer craving alcohol. I'm counseling and working through some things and also going to AA, and I go to Christian church twice a week - all of that helps tremendoulsy, and of course coming here to SR and reading other's posts and posting myself also helps.
There is tremendous JOY in your post! Can't wait til I get there myself. (jealousy rears it's head a bit....sigh....forgive me!)

Thank you ALL so much for sharing in my celebration. You all know how much this means to me, because you have been here.
DAWN, Awwww sweetie, I am praying for you, you deserve to feel the joy and to know that you are doing the right thing. I found my spirituality again, then I found AA - some ppl find spirituality thru AA, my case, it was not so. I had a hole in me FOREVER I was trying to fill, however it didnt want alcohol it wanted the way, the truth and the life, that I deserve and so do my girls. You WILL feel it just keep going.
I was going to pick up my 30 day chip tonight, but my daughter went to Vacation Bible School all week and I am going to her skit at the church. So I guess I will pick it up next week.
