finally going to rehab
I am still keeping her in my thoughts and prayers. I don't know anything about in-patient YET (Your Eligible TOO) but I do know about out-patient and I also know that there is aftercare from In-Patient where some places will help anyone with this stuff, finding a 1/2 way or 3/4 way house, transportation, food, etc. I know that different state have different things, but I am sure that if someone is doing the right thing for the right reason then everything will work itself out. Good to see her still seeking the right directions.

I hope Beth found her way to rehab too.
The thing about my recovery is just that its mine. I have to do it myself, others can't do it for me.
I have to simply accept what decisions others make.
So I put in the work each day and try to leave the results to my HP and then accept them.

My prayers are that Beth made it to Rehab as well..
Let's hope.. and pray..
Kevin is right,, Recovery is all about a persons personal decision to get well.
Let's hope that this is Beths time to get well..
We are praying for you Beth!!
Many people love you, and did all they could.. It's all up to you..
Prayers,
Becky

On my morning walk I was watching a beautiful butterfy flit lightly from leaf to leaf. It reminded me of bfree4u's avatar, the butterfly, a symbol of life's beautiful and delicate transformations.
sobriety is just such a transformational process, but not all addicts and alcoholics receive it.
beth's struggle has reminded me of both the power as well as the fragility in life with addiction. I am grateful that I'm sober this morning and pray for the still sick and suffering addicts and alcoholics who struggle.
and, especially, for beth. I pray for you to find the road to your true freedom.

I am new...like new tonight...and I joined because I was looking for help for a friend. And I read this thread...and I have to say, I am praying for Beth with all of my heart.
You are all so genuine.
You are all so genuine.
(((beth)))
We are all on your side. We all hope you are on your side too.
Allow yourself to recieve the help. I believe many people who struggle with addiction have difficulty recieving. Remember that in order to give much you need to also be able to recieve much. Think of going to rehab like taking your reciever into the repair shop...

As much as we care, we are reminded that there is no such thing as "sobriety for free". Nor is there any serenity in our own sobriety if we take the responsibility for choosing sobriety away from another to the degree that we end up sad, angry, hurt or despairing when it doesnt turn out the way WE want it to, no matter HOW right it may seem to us.
Just my thoughts at this point.
I'm still lighting the way in my heart for beth and ALL the sick and suffering addicts to find the life they were born to live on earth. sooner, than later, too...if I may add.

God
I am not the person that I am should be
I am not the person that I am going to be
I am not the person that I ought to be
But thank you God I am better than I was.
Progress not perfection.
""It has come to my attention that a lot of the posts on Beth's thread about entering rehab involve information from personal telephone calls. I was unaware that this is against SR's rules, which state:
"3 Please don't post private/personal information about people you know without asking their permission first. This includes posting the contents of emails or Private Messages without getting permission from the sender."
Therefore I have removed many of the posts from this thread and closed the thread. I know everyone here has Beth in their prayers and we all wish the best for her.""
