I am going to my very first NA meeting tonight. I am a bit anxious/nervous, but I am also excited for some reason. There two I have to choose from...

One is called "Yound and Free" and is WC, NS, CD, OB, OT, OST - and has a "Speaker meeting" the last Tuesday of the month, and that is today.

The second meeting is called "Recovery Matters" and is NS, CD, and OD.

Any suggestions for a first-time NA meeting attender? I welcome any opinions, answers, thoughts, ideas, etc.

I figure as long as I am taking this firt step, I am doing a good thing for myself. Just wanted to see what you all had to say.

I think I would go to the Recovery matters meeting...but that is just me...
I was young and free for way too long...that is how i got into this mess LOL
No but really It could go either way...just a suggestion
And J I am so glad you are going to a meeting....you may be nervous but I assure you once you get there you will feel nothing but kindness and support !!! Enjoy this new phase of your life...many doors are about to be opened to you...let us know how it goes okay !!!!!
