She acquired a desire to stop using? News to me... everything I have read has been to the contray.

I am offering a suggestion to save her life. Some have her information so they have the power/responsibility to get help to her... not wait until she 'has a desire'. Hell, if I waited to want to quit I would still be using today.

How do you know that this statement is true that some of us know her information? I have probably the best relationship with her and have talked on the phone with her. And if we did have the information just like you stated here and this statement here

I don't see that to be truth because the only way that this works is if you WANT to quit, it doesn't matter if someone needs it, it is truly only if they want it. Just my 2 cents Take what you want leave the rest, none of us have all the answers when we don't even know what questions to ask. Also I don't think that the topic on this thread was about quitting it was about being homeless again. I think that is part of the rules also that should apply!?! Of course like my sponsor says I shouldn't think

This suggestion is far beyond the capabilities of SR. We are a group of people trying to help each other. That's all.

As Vic said, tolerance is key.

As were many other suggestions but they were appreciated. She has been offered gifts, rides, places to stay... people driving 1500 miles to take her to rehab. These suggestions ARE inside the realm of what SR can do? Because none of those offers/posters were rediculed or told 'SR isnt capable of such'. Speaks volumes. Please, consider that point.

That particular suggestion, the Baker Act, is not realistic at all for a group of people on a message board to manage.
