hi all, back and drinking again, i think you all know how hard it is to type this. but i have some challenges and some choices in life to make and i know drinking does not help them so here i am again - hopefully starting on the sober trail again hugs to you who are making it and bigger hugs to those like me, for the time being are not kath |
It really doesn't suprise me when someone drinks/uses what supprises me is when we don't drink/use. Glad that you are back with us. Just For Today, WE never have to use again. |

Remember, it's better to be on the bus, then under it!! But a little road rash can definately stregthen our resolve. ((All)) So many new faces on the bus. Welcome!! Any one want to tell us where you are at in recovery? Are you working a program? Any problems? How you are dealing with life and sobriety? This is where I air it out!! The good, the bad, and the ugly. LOL Sometimes it's like a bad sitcom, but it is my life and this is how I make it through sober. What drew me to this thread 2 1/2 years ago, was not just the wonderful people (founders) on the thread, but the poem Don't Quit itself. I have always loved that poem!! The words are so true. I've had coffee cup with that poem on it for 11 years. It really means a lot to me. |

Besides, it's safer to pick up a keyboard or telephone than to pick up that first drink. Never quit. Never lose sight of recovery for not many of us have "recoveries". |
