NOT QUITTING SOBRIETY> NOT QUITTING LIFE All hang in, have went thru horrible month, deaths, hospitals, marital issues, son in service, job issues, money issues, but dealing with each as it came, and saying ____I NEED TO CRY OR SCREAM NOW SO JUST DEAL____ was such a better choice than finding a little bit of dope that after the initial rush was going to make everything SO MUCH Worse. 19 months, 8 days and counting, and plan on being here in 10 years, just remember the group, your friends that are sober, that one person in your life that knows all and says ok, even if that person is here on the forum is all it takes to have that tiny sliver of hope to stay clean tonight. |

Denise, it's a pleasure seeing you here. I see Gianna has a name change. How are you Jhana? Laci, come visit you are missed. Little Missy, so glad you are doing so much better. Did you enjoy your Frosties? I would knock down a few old women to be able to eat one of those. Addiction it really is crazy. I won't eat any thing that is bad for me but I'll smoke weed. I love this bus. It's like my home group. I need to visit here more often. This place has always helped me. Cherokee, congrats on your clean time. Not Quitting Today Denise Back is much improved with physical therapy, took it out for some retail therapy yesterday, saved a bit of $ because I couldn't reach any lower shelves!!! Hello everybody--hope you all are well. I only have a few minutes 'cause I have to get ready for the meeting, but I wanted to check in. I dropped Q off at camp this afternoon and don't go pick her up until Friday. I miss her already, but it's our third time at that camp so we are both old pro's. I don't worry about her at all. Went to see Superman Returns this afternoon as soon as I got back in town. I thought it was GREAT!! I was a HUGE fan of the first movies. Had such a crush on Christoper Reeve. I almost cried at the beginning of the movie thinking about what happened to him. Now I'm feeling all romantic and nostalgic and I have no one to share it with. BOO HOO!! Oh well. I know I will have some sweet, romantic dreams tonight. I am gonna enjoy it!! Hang in there, everybody. And NO QUITTING! |
