How do I feel
Well, there is air, I am awake, I am clean and sober, yesterday I was a little unwell and actually looked after myself!
Its Satuday morning and I get to take things a little easier, feeling much better this morning, glad I looked after myself yesterday. Got up at 7am and lit the wood fire for the first time this autimn/winter. Made some brekky, took my vitamins and read Just for Today and a bit of the BB.
And how do I feel?
Well, Great
And grateful to be recoverying day by day.
I played with the dogs this morning, danced and sang. I have a list of calls to make this morning (never had so many phone No's, in fact never known so many people).
I try to keep my life simple, I love that
Then this morning I hear from Amy and Vic and I feel so excited, its great to have friends back.
Every day I feel whatever comes up and do whatever I need to do regardless of what that is but I always every day feel grateful that I have this life and humbled by my daily experience.
Love Kevin

What a great message to read this morning. Thanks for posting this. I'm trying so hard to get out of the rut of feeling sorry for myself. I think I'll go to a garden today and try to enjoy something beautiful.

Hey Kevin,
You're the first post I've read this morning...and what an inspiration you are. It's still too dark here to accomplish all of the things you've done already, but I've got the coffee on, read my emails, and I can look at myself this morning without puffy eyes.
So, in a little while I'll get breakfast on, work out, study for an exam, and pass the sunshine around...just like you did for me this morning. Have a wonderful day, Kevin. Have a great day all of you at SR!

Thanks and I get it all back this morning 1000's of miles away
It warm and raining today so I read a book and will call in on a couple of friends, will go to an early meeting in the city and get to bed early ready for the week.
Last night I took a GSR position in a meeting I have been going to on Sat Nights, its was really about my commitment to NA , to the group and of course to myself and my recovery.
John Lennon said; "... life is what happens when we are busy making other plans.." Thanks John I live right here and now as much as I can and plans are just that "plans".
