Meetings, meetings, meetings
My first local AA/NA meeting:
My councellor talked me into it. I said I'd give it a try. I got there early and waited. A couple of guys showed up in the parking lot. I'm checking my watch...waiting....waiting...waiting.
Finally, one of our local cops shows up and slaps a cancellation sign on the door. The two guys in the car give me the WTF? sign. I walked over and told them what the sign said. The driver yells, "Sign my paper!!!" I retorted, "Yeah buddy, you sign MY paper." Now the cop sits at the end of my block. Guess my house is safe.
I'll stick with my therapy group awhile longer...
