Non anger issues

[FONT=Verdana]I'm not sure what's happening to me. I've been around recovery for a little over a year, but only have 2 months clean. But all of the sudden my anger is gone. Where did it go? Needed to confront my sponsor about an issue w/her and I pussyfooted around it! I also had an arguement with my husband today and just didn't argue back. At one time I would have chewed him up and spit him out and been proud of it. Where did my backbone go? That's 2 times in about a week that I didn't "go off". I almost feel scared am I losing my nerve?

Doesn't it take two to have an arguement? So your H tried to start one and you just chose not to go there with him. Maybe you are just starting to be more choosy of your battles. Maybe you are asking yourself how important is it?

I think good for you for not getting angry, maybe your a better person for not.

I think my drinking caused a lot of my short temper and anger, I have been sober for 80 days. I seem to not let things get to me as bad, and when I do get upset, I get over it faster. Seems to make for a better day.

Enjoy life.

As the fog lifts we feel a new freedom of the emotions that kept us unhealty. Embrace the fact your able to let it go, it means your growing.
