so sick and scared
so one of my best friends just died and its been really hard on me. she overdosed on extacy, which i have never taken and never will...instead im hooked on oxy, which i used to just take to calm me down and get rid of pain...now its as if i take it just because its there and i feel like im losing control of myself and i cant quit taking it...and the horrible thing is is that none of it is even prescribed to me...my mom gets it and never takes it and so i steal it from her and take it and everything is really just starting to get hard and i need help

Hey sweetie,
I'm so sorry for your loss.
I too lost my best friend.
Not from drugs, but it's very hard.
Are you seeing a counselor or someone else
to help you get through all this?
If not, you may want to consider it,
you've got a tough battle ahead of you
and I'd hate to see you try and do too much
on your own. Your in a great place here.
Take a deep breath and let go of the
stress for just a minute. It'll still be there
when your doing a bit better.
I have a hard time doing that.
You CAN get through this.
I promise.
Let go of the oxy's they are just causing you
more pain that you don't need.
Please keep posting.

Welcome Samantha,
I couldn't say it any better than Done did. (nor would I try) Hang in there, but you've got to do something about the oxys.
