Just wanted to thank you all once again
for being here and helping me through
the rough patches!!
(My join date says April 2004, but
that's only because that's when I had to
re-register after the Big Crash. I really joined
late January of '04.)

What a lot of changes we have been thru, I recently read some of my first posts ( is good for me sometimes) and there we were supporting each other , and still doing it !

Hey, SR family!
I don't know where to start. I am so overwhelmed with gratitude. I think now, almost 21 years after my first hospitalization and about 30 years of being ill, my depression is in remission! I have been clean 5 days shy of 2 years, but have been battling depression and probably ADD as well for most of that time.
I just want to thank everybody here for their support. You have been a big part of my recovery this past year I'd say. I'm so glad I found SR! I have a tendency to only post when I have a problem, so I thought I'd "mix it up" a little and tell you ALL the good news.

Only folks who joined between January 19th, 2004 and about April 7 had to re-register. That's the time period the Crash affected.
Now here's a quote from a thread I called Blue Ed. Just compare it (April 2004) to the December '04 quote. That's what I meant about helping me through the rough patches!

I'm 37 and I don't know how to use the phone. I don't know how to talk to people. I had to give away my adorable puppy. I can't cry. I barely feel anything except anxiety sometimes...and the occasional anger. I'm more lonely around people than when I'm actually alone. I...I...I...me...me...me.

G*D, if I looked back, hmmm....no, I don't want to think about that!

You are so special you have really and truly helped me through a lot of things. You have also helped me so much to realize that it is OK to reach out for help. You have also helped me to realize that I might even need some extra help to help me in the program. I have an appointment Monday to see a psychiatrist, it has a lot to do with the treatment that I am on also for my interferon shots, but I think that I still need that extra help even without it today. Thanks for being such an inspiration

I really need some pink socks myself. I asked for them for Christmas at work but didn't get any.
