Did you use Vicoden? How did the withdrawal play out?

Bout had enough of it. In day 5 and have been feeling VERY head strong but now not so much.

I NEED to know my fate. The anxiety of not knowing is whats making me want to use.

Please give me a time line and events of your withdrawal.

Thank you SO very much. Im losing patience because Im not in control of knowing what and when my body is going to do what it is going to do.

7 yrs at 4 10/650's

Im 5'7 100 pds

Rx'ed, no cravings just so sick and need to know when I will feel well.

Im in day 5 now. The other days was alot of bathroom time.

Today, it is more like the flu: headache, runny nose, NO ENERGY, tight neck, just shittier than I can even explain.

This is going to **** alot of people off but I have to ask:

Why and HOW in God's name, after going through this, could anyone relapse knowing they had this to face?

THIS alone will keep me clea for life, no doubt in my mind.

i nmy case, I chose to forget the bad times and focus only on the so-called good times! Its all the same in the end, misery and pain. I chose now to play the tape foward and see my using for what it really is!

I

for the day I feel unsick and not high. I am scared now that this is what life feels like sober. I am beginning to think that although I dont have the intense cravings, I have OR was beginning to develop an addicts voice.

It is like this whole thing is consuming me and if I dont bask in it right now, I do nothing but lay around. This moves my fingers at least.

Babe,
Congratulations, you are doing a wonderful thing. I have detoxed from pills many times over the last 20 Years and it's tuff. I agree with the other posts, the amount of time the withdrawls last is different for everyone. For me what has always lasted the longest is the insomnia. Just remember as long as you don't use things will get better. I am on day 4 with no methadone. I went from pills to heroin to methadone. I have been on methadone for 7 years at 180mg. I really feel like crap and crave really bad but I know me and I know if I put any drug of any kind in my body, even xanax, I can get addicted to it. I know it will get better but with methadone it takes a very long time. I am so glad you are doing this, it's the best thing you could possibly do for yourself. I wish you all the luck in the world and I hope you get a good night's sleep very soon. Please don't give up. My prayers will be with you. LeighC
