Please help a nurse keep her promise

Hello,

I am not a cocaine addict, nor have I ever used this drug. I do however need a little help. I am a nurse who is taking care of a patient who has an issue with cocaine. I am familiar with your group through a friend of mine, so this is why I am posting this message here right now. This patient of mine has expressed the need and desire to find a group like yours, only I don't have a number to give to him. He is tired, frustrated and sick. I offered to help him where I could, and he said he would try. I have to keep my promise by getting him y'alls number. What he does after this is completely up to him. From what I know of him, he has had many promises broken to him and I don't want to break this promise.

Thank you for your time
KMRN

Hey KMRN....
I'm sure someone from Texas will be along with some information for your area for face to face meetings.

Sober Recovery is of course here 24/7 for anyone with any codependancy or addiction issue...
Does your patient have internet access..??
There is endless support and love here.. so.. I'm sure it would help him as well.

Thank you for going out of your way for a fellow addict.

the world could use more caring.. ;o)

Blessings

For the number needed for support groups and help, a call to the local chapter of NA would do it. You can locate them in your phone book.

Vic, no phones here at SR. We wouldn't keep that from you. Matter of fact, if we had phones...You may be the one we have do the phone answering *LOL*

Hello this is Vic, how may I help you?

LMOL.

And, like Vic and best said, just give him this forum address and get him a number for CA in Texas. He will get loads of numbers from his first CA meeting.
