Looks like I'm not alone

Hey guys, my name is kiddquik and I'm a drug addict. Been dealing with opiate addiction for years now and am trying to kick, again. This is day one and it sucks already. Can't sleep, body aches all over to the bone. Why did I ever take that very firsy plunge? Well at least I'm not alone. I came here and this place is jumpin'! Never seen a forum so active. It makes me feel so good to find that there are many others just like me. Thanks for such a great place! Hope to meet may awesome people too. Peace,

kiddquik

Nope, you sure aren't....that's the beauty of this program: never alone, never again. :) Welcome....and feel free to look around.

Hi kid and welcome. 1st day eh? Trying to kick again eh? I wish you luck although it's skills not luck that will get and keep you sober. You'll find some of both here but going to NA/AA would be a better approach to life long sobriety. Either will teach you the everyday skills and tools you'll need to be a sober person. My prayers are with you.
God bless

Hey Kid,

This place is great. Lots of support and many good people. We all pull for each other here.

Hang in there on day one. You are going through the hardest part now, and it will get easier.

Glad you found SR.

Jup.
