I'm so glad that went well for you all. DWI, that first post was wayyy cool. I kinda felt like that a few times. Thought that I'd give up my clean time for something else to feel good. My DOC was those lines too. At first I'd get a lot done or have fun, but you're exactly right, pretty soon I'd be home AMB staring at that damn pile o white on the tray.
I curse this disease and what it does to us.
I'm glad you ladies found each other last night. I always look at that Times Square crowd and see sooo many lonely faces in that huge mass of people. I kinda felt alone at the stroke of midnight. Someone I love was with someone else last night and I'm a little crazy about it. But drinking or drugging wouldn't make it any better.

This thread was a real treat to a old fella that went to bed at 9:30. Done-with-it you put so much wonderful energy in your threads, it is contagious. I didn't know there was so many colors in the alphabet and danceing charactors in the web.
You all did a wonderful thing last night, kept each other sober, stayed friends and lived to talk about it.

Hey Done...did you ever wake up that brother of yours? HEY HOLLA....where are you at when it's dancin time. Done, I bet he don't dance and he's hiding out, down there in the swamps. You doing ok? I got mad at Lucky and went to bed...after I finished my sparklie grape juice, with my youngest daughter. (Hayley) She's 13. Glad you handled the evening. New York, next year? My oldest and I will meet you there. I will just cover my eyes, when the ball drops. Just a few hours drive for me. Well, maybe alittle more than a few.
