God Help Me
(((Mr Party Starter))))
That is not the worst story I ever heard...or saw... but you know what the worst ones are still out there getting worse...at least you do want to get better.
Give yourself a break and also forgive us if we have poured salt on your wound. Come on there's a seat for you here...Welcome!!

Sadly to say, this is not the first time that I've heard this particular sort of confession...
While it may be extremely humiliating for you, it can be your motivating factor to give sobriety a chance.
What is your line of work?
If you are surrounded all day with people who humilate you it may be time to look for a new job and a fresh start...
But many of us have felt suicidal as well...
It may seem as if there is no way out...but there is

The shame is going thru the rest of your life high and drunk.
If, this bothers you a lot, you might reloacte to another city.
Let me tell you, there wasn't one bet I'd turn down etc. while drinking and drugging my friend. You think that's the worst story I've heard, you're wrong

You titled this thread "God Help Me", and He surely will; but, it's up to you to do the footwork...that involves going to AA meetings, taking the cotton out of your ears and putting it in your mouth (in other words, LISTEN). Buy some literature at the meetings...the Big Book would be an excellent start...but, don't just add it to your home library...READ IT!
Sorry, if we didn't live up to your expectations...but, we can only offer suggestions of how it worked for us in getting/staying sober. Hopefully, you'll be able to see some of the wisdom here and use it to your advantage.
I really thought that i'd have a proverbial shoulder to weep upon.
