Hey Done - I think the most running I ever did was the chasing after my meth-addicted daughter before I found Alanon.... I am taking a much-needed rest.
Weight is a set-up for her, too. She has 5 months clean, but her weight is back up-and she is starting to stress about it. She knows the tools she will need to use (less energy in and more energy out) - but she (and I) know that food addiction/body image issues are more than inflow-outgo.
What I've learned is that she may or may not be able to stay clean this time - I pray she can - but HP and she will have the final say on this. She was also a cutter, as was I. And I still struggle with my weight, though my body image issues have mellowed with time.
I sometimes wonder if I might have picked up a different drug of choice if I had not found alcohol back in the day... and how fortunate I am that I didn't.

Man I know the struggle she is facing.....
Today I was feeling so ughhh, since fat isn't a feeling, umm. I don't know what feeling it was but it relates to FAT........
I looked in the mirror and I saw the sparkle in my eye, and I was okay.
I completely lost the sparkle, and I have never really seen the sparkle that people
have told me I have. *Sparkly Done* lol....... But I guess you have to lose it to find it.
I am praying for your daughter. Maybe SHE can run the marathon with me!!! :-)

I will be the first to tell you that beauty is on the inside not the outside. It doesn't matter really what the outer appearance looks like I mean OMG look at me So if you want beauty look into your heart.

on that school of thinking, It doesn't really work like that so much.
I live in Hollywierd remember.

here. I know, I know it's my choice to live here and accept what Hollywood gives. But sometimes you gotta follow the rules or your out of the games.
It's creating New Rules that I'm working on........
People like Kelly Clarkeson are my heroes. The ones
that stay true to themselves no matter what they say.

Dangerous Dan did it for me after I swallowed my insecurity and asked him to make me a sig too b/c I felt left out.
--hey that guy with the blond hair who is saying he's as crazy as a coconut.....Everytime I see him on t.v. or what have you...it boggles my mind b/c he looks exactly like this kid my sis use to date in highschool. Their manorisms are even the same. I can almost think of his name.....naw....lost it. Shoot.

I am nervous it's going to start storming here, I am not good at running in the rain.
I DID start doing YOGA for my 6 week anniversary though! It's great. I have heard that a lot. I've been trying to force myself to do it for awhile now.
It's hard to do, all that concentration and being slow. Crazyness.
But I give myself the wonderful present of Tae Bo if I finish my yoga.
It's a good balance.
I ran 6 miles the other day. I am SO at that marathon...
