Hanging in there

The forum has a lot of encouragement in it. I am on my 4th day. There is still beer in the refigurator.

Thanks again to the folks that continue to give support.

Hey, Zimmer. Glad you're hangin' in there. Glad you're sober today.

I think you'll find things easier now that the booze is gone. Nothing more annoying than having to reach past beer to get a Ginger Ale LOL.

Good move, smart move. Congrats on the four days!

When I decided to claim my life back, it was hard to let go. Like they say, old habits die hard. See you on the boards.

Thank you Roses and Yank, I did dump the beers and have been sober since then, 11/23, it is with 'youalls' support that I am continuing to hang in there. I thought I was the only person up this early looking at threads. It helps me get a good start on the day, and through the evening. In my opinion, no offense to anyone, but I think there is a special good place in the 'here after' for folks like you that take time to help others.

When I read these threads I am usually don't reply because I don't feel like I am smart enough to tell someone how to solve a problems they are having. But I do try to share my experiences occasionally, and hope it helps.

Thanks again, you all are the greatest.

Thank you Overit.

Your 'newbe bus' really took off, it looks like it has helped houdreds of people. I read it when I am at the office, I'm not allowed to respond to websites from the office but I can read them.. and the SR threads really help with getting by the evening temptations.

Thanks again.
I am off to work, see you this evening.
