the shadow. part 1
a wonderful lesson we can learn from any miracle is the uconscious influence we may exercise for good or evil. no day in ones lifetime has gone by without that day being marked by an influence upon that someone, whether for good or evil.
people and places continually cast shadows of influence across the lives of men and women every day. the prodigal son never got away from his fathers shadow even when he traveled far away. the church casts a shadow that lies across a world ridden with trouble and distress, although an increasing number of people are turning to its doors to find comfort and hope. and while there will always be many whose shadows are poisin and evil, there also will always be those whose shadows are silent influences and help to heal the hurts of men and women.
in every town and city there are those whose shadows are like addiction, bringing pain and death to all that it falls upon. their unholy intentions are passed on to others. but thank GOD there are those whose shadows are influential. The shadow of ones life stands for its influence. its the power of a life pased on, the atmosphere of a life extended, and whether or not we are conscious of our life influence, we will be held responsible to GOD for it. a persons life can be marked by a rude comment or a nasty look from another, or inspired by a simple kiss from a mother. our unconscious influence is more powerful than our consciuos output in our lives. a word, an act, or a deed done is the occasional thing in in life, but the shadow or inlfuence is the constant reflection of our personality.
