cmon somebody

yoked to heroin. stealing to satisfy my craving, losing all morals and eventually all self respect. finally there is nothing to restrain me from doing evil. it didnt start that way, but it ended that way.

As long as you are still breathing, there is hope. There is a solution. There is freedom from the hell that is addiction.

I found that solution in the rooms of NA / AA. One minute, one hour, one day at a time you can stop the drugs and start to learn how to live life without them.

Justaguy--Many of us have been just where you are right now: helpless, hopeless, and out-of-control. Many of us have also found a way to get through it and come out on the other side. Hang in there. There is a solution....

Hi Justaguy,

I was feeling just as hopeless 9 months ago and posted here and a lot of people encouraged me to seek recovery. I did and have not had a drink since February 8. I was pretty bad off too.

Life is so much better now, even though really rough sometimes.

Seek treatment for the heroin. I'm not an expert on it, but I know myself (addicted to crack at one time) that treatment can be the start of a solid recovery.

I will say a prayer for you tonight.

Jup.

Hey Justaguy,

Surly doesn't have to stay that way.. It can get better..

It might be tough, but eh, tell me living the life of an addict,
isn;t tough? Yep, I am a opiate addict, my DOC is pain Killers,,
Been clean for over 7 months, really, at one time, I never believed I
would EVER be clean, just thought I was one of the unlucky "ones" I
had heard about, that just couldn't get it,, Ha, Yep, in the end, as tough
as it is, it's doable. You can do it,, it can be done.

That's GOOD news.. there is always, always hope.
Hang in there,
Stick around,
Most importantly,
REACH OUT,,
It helps, alot..

Love and prayers,
Becky
