23 weeks Today

161 days Today :)

Interesting week for me, being sick and having to call an ambulance and then visit the Dr. Glad thats done and I am ok. The support I got from SR when I was unwell was amazing, thank you all.

Its the weekend here and I have many things to do, I love the weekends. Was also great to meet Lee an SR member from Melbourne.

Anyway time to get on with it and play some lovley music while I get busy.

DP if you read this please join in if you feel like it.

I am thrilled to hear that your doctor said you're ok. I am sure you were pretty worried about the outcome of that appointment! I hope you have a great and productive weekend!!

161 days is something to be proud of !!!!!! just don't forget to remain humble!

Dead Poet 10-28-2005 04:09 PM

YES!! Congradulations, that is such a HUGE achievement...when I saw your post it automatically reminded me tomorrow (here) is SATURDAY!! I am celebrating with you (keep that in mind) when you do your daily celebration!! Also, you made me think of how good the weekends really are. I used to go through every day (didnt matter what it was) a *bit unconscious*....but now weekends mean free time, things to do for myself, sleeping in late, more time for friends..and now a celebration!!!! Really, I haven't looked forward to the weekend for a longg time. Thank you!

Tomorrow will be 39 days... (+/- roughly 2 weeks)...11 days = 50 clean days :)

TomKatt 10-28-2005 04:15 PM

Congrats Dead Poet,
1987 days 16 hours and 16 minutes,,,, but who is counting...I AM 1 DAY ata time

nogard 10-28-2005 04:23 PM

Thanks TomKatt, I am grateful on a daily basis and never forget that :)

DP, its great isn't Sat morning used to be waking up with the most almighty hangover and spending the weekend alone getting as out of it as I could.

As you says these days its a good chance to wake up refreshed and sing and dance to celebrate another day sober, then get busy with housewrok, painting, seeing friends all the usual stuff.

Its good to have you in here celebrating too, we can sing and dance together :)
