Day 12

Some days are harder than others but now I am 12 days clean and sober. I am starting to feel better and more like a human. It feels good to experience the pleasures of life without a clouded mind.

I am grateful for this day and many more sober days to come.

Thanks for being there for me through it all!

Thanks so muchy Becky, Alera, Kevin, Michael, and Hotwingeatter!!

After I got finished with my exam today, I walked down the road in the rain with the rain just softly pouring on me and I thought to myself, "I AM SO GLAD TO BE ALIVE!"
And for a moment, everything made sense. It is nice to be able to really enjoy things and not always be out of it. I am grateful for the rain today. Somehow, I feel a soothing deep in my soul.

I am grateful for my friends at SR for sticking by my side. I couldn't ask for better friends than all of you!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

I am sticking around this time. There is so much more to live than my past way of living. I am going to keep exploring life as it happens and to see what each new day has in store for me.

It is sometimes appreciating the simple things like soft rain, being with someone, accomplishing a small task that makes life worthwhile.
