Tolerance
Hey everyone never posted a tread before, but feel it's time. my own personal feelings on the issues that have been popping up on the newcomers board. is that we need to let the light shine though!
in my own personal recovery i have tried anything and everything that would work for me to stay clean. i have been through 12 step groups, non-spiritual growth groups, churchs, temples and have read so many books i don't even know where to start. and the one thing i've learned in 18 yrs of recovery is that:
I TAKE WHAT WORKS AND LEAVE THE REST!
just like my spirituality, i don't expect anyone to understand. becouse it such a mish mash of this and that. and thats OK with me.
i just hope everyone remembers that for a newcomer we need to let the light shine through!
