What Is Your Favorite Prayer?
This Is My Favorite Prayer....
Thou Art My Lord
There Is No God But Thee.
Thou Art My Lord
And I Am Thy Servent.
I Have Been Unjust To Myself,
And I Confess My Faults.
So Grant Me Protection
Against All My Faults
For None Grants Protection Against Faults But Thee,
And Guide Me To The Best Of Morals
For None Guides To The Best Of Them But Thee,
And Turns Away Evil But Thee.
This Prayer Gives Me Hope And Courage, And It Lets Me Know, That God Forgives Me.

Desiderata
Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs;
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.
Perhaps not a prayer but "spiritual prose". I read it in the morning before I start my day.

The prayer of ST Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, light;
Where there is sadness, joy;
O, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much
seek to be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

WOW!!! Too cool!!!
I also thought of the prayer by Reinhold Nieburr (sure that is not quite right) but the first stanza is the Serenity prayer, but there are at least two other stanzas. I like it in the whole form as it was written.

Great Spirit
whos voice i hear in the wind
whose breath gives lfe to the world, hear me
i am one of your many children of the world
i am small and weak
i need your strength and wisdom
let me walk in beauty and make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset
Make my hands respect the things you have made, my ears sharp to hear your voice
Make me wise, so that i may know the things you have taught my people,
the lesson you have hidden in every leaf and rock
I seek strength not to be superior to my brothers, but to be able to fight my greatest enemy,
myself
Make me ever ready to come to you, with clean hands
and straight eyes
so when life fades as a fading sunset,
my spirit may come to you without shame

This is one of my favourites for the addict who still suffers and all those who are sad in the night.
For Those Who Suffer
For those who suffer,
and those who cry this night,
give them repose, Lord;
a pause in their burdens.
Let there be minutes
where they experience peace,
not of man
but of angels.
Love them, Lord,
when others cannot.
Hold them, Lord,
when we fail with human arms.
Hear their prayers
and give them the ability to hear You back
in whatever language they best understand.

Love for others and respect for their rights and dignity, no matter who or what they are: ultimately these are all we need. So long as we practise these in our daily lives, then no matter if we are learned or unlearned, whether we believe in Buddha or God, or follow some other religion or none at all, as long as we have compassion for others and conduct ourselves with restraint out of a sense of responsibility, there is no doubt we will be happy’ - Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama.
