Mind you in my case thats me and thats ok. The lady I am feebly trying to court is in a seven day silence workshop, so I won't see her until next Saturday.

This one's off the soundtrack of Beaches, one of my all time favorite "tissue box" movies: "Baby Mine" by Bette Midler

I also absolutely LOVE John Lennon's "Imagine"

Jackson Browne: "In the Shape of a Heart" and "Jamaica Say You Will"

If anyone's familiar with Scottish rock groups, there's a group called Runrig that my friend in Scotland turned me onto when I was over there a couple years ago. They have a song on their Stamping Ground album called "Book of Golden Stories" that always makes me smile. I have very eclectic tastes in music.

I love Brown Eyed Girl too, since I am one!

OK, I lied...there's one country song I like-don't shoot me!

The Judds-Love Can Build a Bridge

Also Elton John-Someone Saved My Life Tonight & his version of Candle in the Wind that he rewrote for Lady Diana's funeral.

Can you tell I'm listening to Jackson B right now? These Days (his the very best of CD simply ROCKS)

My favorite of Celine's is The Power of Love

Oh, and y'all are just going to think I am the biggest dork EVER but there is something really sweet about Kenny Loggins' House at Pooh Corner. I can't put my finger on what it is but I love that song.....I bought his greatest hits CD just for that one.

And Gloria Estefan's Coming Out of the Dark. That one's real personal and very inspiring for me!

OK, I'll stop now....

Oooh, her Falling Into You CD is usually one of my favorites but I am avoiding love songs like the plague today. Still a little raw from the events of this week.

I forgot about Tiny Dancer, I like that one too......and Can You Feel the Love Tonight? They played that at my best friend's funeral a couple years ago, a bittersweet memory but it was such a beautiful service that it is hard not to feel his presence when I hear that song. We always loved the Lion King movie anyway.

I imagine the younger SR members are cringing at our "old fogey" tastes in music!! I do like Kelly Clarkson's whole Breakaway CD, it has a lot of recovery related stuff on it.
