first timer

this is the first time i,ve used this site, wich was recomended by a friend.

so i thought id introduce my self so hello

life for me aint at all to good at the moment, well its never been that good really. constently always revolving around drugs, first i was a heroin and crack addict then stoped. but the thing is i didnt stop i changed for pills coke and ketamine, wich seems to get me in more trouble then wen i was a heroin user, im rippin of my mates and basically turnin into a right wanker, i finally had my first weekend in last week 4 18 months, but that is only cause i was visiting family, im really gonna try it this weekend,

it has got to the stage were im thinking of mnoving back to my home town so i can get away from all this hectic lifestyle in london but there are so many bad memories there... i really dont know wat to do

Hello Philster--Welcome to SR. Glad you found us. Here, you will find many people who understand just what you are going through. It is hard to give up drugs and alcohol, but not impossible. Hang out, read for a while, post some more, and don't give up.

You've found a group here that will be very supportive of your goals to stop using. Take a look at the NA forum, and the substance abuse forum. Read the stickys on the tops of the forums; they are filled with helpful information. And keep coming back and posting. Many others here know exactly what you are dealing with. You are not alone any more.
I hope to see you here often as we both grow in our recovery...

I'm Wendy, a drug addicted alcoholic in recovery. Since i admitted my problem with drugs and started living one day at a time i've had such a better life. Just for today don't do drugs.
