Permission to come aboard? (newbie here)
Hello all,
I just recently stumbled upon this website and I was very MUCH relieved to know that such a website such as this is very welcoming. I've been in recovery now for 136 days and a wake-up. Thus far each and everyday begins a new life for me that has it's up and down, but of course that's what life has to offer me right now. I'm currently in a Alternative Sentencing Program due to my relapse on March 20th of this year and have come to believe that I was powerless and I have surrendered. Well I could probably go on and on about myself, but I really just wanted to say "THANK YOU" to you all for being there for me and everyone else.

What a lovely introduction, Jim. So glad you're here! SoberRecovery is the greatest, and I don't know what I'd do without all these loving, kind, encouraging, supportive members. Sounds like you have an interesting story to tell. You're not alone. And there's a wonderful NA section here on the board. Hope to see more of you!
