5 Days sober @ feeling good

First day without the shakes, any thougts on how I can keep going, BIG ask but i need all the help I can get

My thoughts on your request to "keep going":
1. Go to AA meetings
2. Get a sponsor
3. Work the steps.

That's it. Life gets better. THAT is a good deal.

Thanks you two, this is great, I am new to the internet. I am going to AA tomorrow Lunch time. I have been before but did not stick with it, if only I did. Had a bab day my wife found out once again that I was drinking, and is threatening to throw me out of the house with nothing, to be honest I dont blame her, she's heard all the promises before, why should this time be any different. hanging on by my finger tips. Really glad I found you all Thanks Diger

You should def. get a sponsor that has a CLEAN record.........they will be your example, and you will see not only hear that it really does get better, so much better, i am recovering myself .....good luck! :wiggle:

Congrats on the sober days! It may get difficult and the ride most definitely will get bumpy, but it does get better.

Keep On Coming Back!!
