Hi Gianna,
Good to see you also!! How's your dog? Doing any dancing lately? What's up with your work? The B/F? Geez...I've got a LOT to catch up on here at SR.
Hey...so far I made it to day two. Yippee! Wanted a drink after work but let it pass and said a prayer instead.
Off to eat a salad and then crash into bed. Hard getting sober while you are working. Geez...I've never had to do that before! Exhausted.
Hi Angelhugs...hope you are doing well
Love to all and to all sweet dreams.

Laci, my nose started to burn when I read this. Keep praying Laci.
We are all praying with you dear.
Hope you have a good night sleep. We are here for you Laci.

Prayers and well wishes for all who are still MIA.
Laci,
I am so happy you are back here (even if you drink, stay here and kvetch; it helps). Those first few days are so important...and so hard...and so worth it. As for your questions: dog is fine, in fact much happier now that I am not drinking and have more time for her. The bf is still very much there, and probably not a little mystified about the non-drinking changes, but he won't ask, and I haven't been compelled to tell all. Not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing, but I have only just come to terms with who I am (and accepting myself unconditionally, as Don S. would remind me to do). I am not sure I can explain myself just yet. As for Tango, I am just getting back to it after my convelescence due to my dislocated elbow.
AngelHugs, so great to see you around all the time!
True, where IS MG?

Laci,
Stick around here with us. We always help each other thru the good and bad times. It is so great to have such wonderful friends around here and have a good, safe place to come be ourselves. The friendships built on here are truly magical and a blessing.
Gianna,
It is great that you are learning so much about yourself. Your bf will understand in time. Everything always has a way of falling into place.
I'm so happy today, my grandpa is coming home from the hospital after being at the point of death. It is truly a miracle with his healing and I'm so glad that he is coming home.

Hi AngelHugs and Captain! I have trouble keeping up with all the new posts sometimes so there are quite a few who are MIA that I have no clue of.
**{lilemme}} was someone who I met on an online drug discussion board {of all places!} and we struck up a PMing friendship in which one day I said that I was sick of it and discovered she was too...and so we made a plan to stop together, with me going first and her soon following after she got some personal matters taken care of so she would have a clear head. She lived in the city that I went to rehab at which is 3 or so hours away from home...even gave me the name of the Addictionologist there who she had worked with before. Her PMs were so inspiring, supportive and really helped me along my journey...I thought that someone who could give such helpful and supportive advice/loving care could surely make it too. During my early recovery I sort of lost track with her and one day I decided to log back into the online drug forum {that was sooo hard!!!} to hunt her down and low and behold, she was there! That was when I gave her the info for this site and she came here around Christmas last year, said she was going into the same rehab I had and even PMed me after she got out saying what a hard time she was having. I tried to be as supportive as she once had...even asking her to post on the board so that others could help, but she just totally disappeared and has not been back since.
I went to the online drug site awhile back to see if I could find her again but to no avail. I always hope that she will post here or PM me again as she was such a part of my recovery and I rally wanted her to get well too. I am hoping she is OK, maybe just without a computer or something like that, but sometimes it is hard to not think the worst.
Lil...If your out there and see this, please come and prove me wrong hun!!!
Captain...I try to visit everyday but sometimes do not post or reply...We are soo busy lately and everyone doing their own thing...Daughter is leaving for Boston today for a week and a half and so hubby and I will be "emptynesters" for abit, but we have lots planned and even a little getaway for ourselves {Yayyyyy!!! } His work is very stressful and he needs this more than I! August is tour colleges time and getting ready for daughters last year of HS! I just don't know where the time has gone!
