Thank you everybody. Appreciate everyone comming to my aid. She is getting dressed to go to the mall. I told her I'd take her up to the counter and all. She said Dad you are so silly. She has promised to not take it out of the bag until she at home in her own room with the door shut. I can do this.

Hello I Am Back
I would like everyone to know I am very grateful for all the messages I had when I came back. I was so ashamed I could have died when I came on here! I am so glad I stopped by now !
This is a great site and I have been reading and learning some things. I will tell Olivia about the Teen Forum in a day or so and see if she's interested.
Right this second she is never speaking to me again because I told her I put her "baby" picture on here and she " could just die".

That is a real fun age there. I wish sometimes I could go back except then I remember I'd have to start over.
I have three girls because I wanted a boy. Of course back then it never crossed my mind I'd be raising them myself. I have very few regrets though.

Hang in there BigEzell, you are dealing with someone who even on their best day...doesn't know which way she is going, and what she is thinking. 
Just keep being available for her. She may push and pull (struggle for independance vs. clinging to childhood/familiarity), but your presence and needed and wanted by her....but she may not admit it for another 10-15 years.

I just wanted to say...You are an awesome man !!
I would have been able to ask my dad for a bra..but would have been glad if he decided to drop me off and pick one for myself. That would be too embarassing having him along with me. Heck, I send my boyfriend to another part of the store when I get a bra. There is just something about getting bras..where most girls feel they need to be left alone or maybe with another girlfriend.
Even when we went clothes shoping...my dad would find a seat somewhere and we would just meet him back there when we were done.

Sorry it is taking so long to get back I am trying to get the girls into bed but I am out numbered.
It all started with a message from a well intentioned lady here right before I left.
She brought up Victoria Secrets and even though I didn't say anything I'm thinking about the Lady Angel commercials I only stare at when my girls are all out of the room so I am thinking naaa NOOOO never .
My fantasy is of a JC Penney lady with a measuring tape embracing my daughter and nodding me toward the shoe dept.
Any one still with me or am I talking to myself here?

I lock the car doors and as soon as I here the bloop bloop meaning it's locked I turn around and she is clear all the way to the automatic doors going in. Me I'm trying to look like a cool 43 year old man chasing a 12 year old girl. She's running from me like I am a black Ted Bundy.
