first thing to do is stop smoking crack, next is go to a meeting, there are plenty of people suffering just as you there!

if you can't get yourself to a meeting pick up the phone and call the cocaine hotline 1-800-cocaine!

there will be someone there to talk to

Ive gone so deep into space with this one that I feel so out of control. My every move is one I never thought Id do and I loose respect for myself more and more every day. Im a good old boy from a small town and today I am a driver and protection for a prostitution ring and Im at the mercy of the drug and the kingpins throughing it at me.

Can you get out of your "job" without being in danger from those people?

Hey Spider,

I gotta agree with AA vark on this one. Time to find a new universe and, when you do, link up with some meetings immediately if not sooner.

spider,
i've learned that the faster i ran the quicker my disease caught up, sometimes it even passed me by, but it always stopped not too far in the distance waiting for me to catch up.

i've also learned that no matter where i ran to, i always brought me with myself, and i'm the problem.

just food for thought bro, we can change anything we want, but nothing changes until we do!

Spider -

i couldnt exactly walk up to "management" and tell them i quit, if you know what i mean...

I did let them know that i was going into rehab, though...

I had to be willing to change everything...

I needed a safe place to detox, and a safe place to start over, after that....

After rehab, I couldnt exactly move back to the crackhouse, ya know???

There is a way out of it, and you can stay clean with the help of others in recovery...

get in touch with your local NA -
