Sorry about my message the other day, I'm "ok"

I'm still around. Thanks so much for those who replied. It helps to much to know that I'm no the only one that's gone through this pain.

Special thanks for all of you who tried to call me, I was asleep by then (sorry to the moderators for posting my number, I was desperate at the time and just wanted help, I know it isn't appropriate).

Just thanks for being here. I wish I had people like you around me. I've been to AA and everyone seems to be at least 20 years older and they all seem as if they've been sober for years. I'm 33 and new, new at trying to be sober and new at drinking in general, my first drunk was after 31. I feel alone, really alone.

But people like you help and I wanted to express my gratitude.

trust me on the 20 years and older thing... i'm only 24 :) many people are older than me.....way older in some cases... however i find them to be some of the greatest people i have met!!! the oldtimers really offer alot of wisdome. remember stick with the winners... no matter what they're age/sex/race but get a sponsor of the same sex :) he/she will be the most important person (besides yourself) in your recovery :)

Most important thing to remember...
You are not alone....

Generally, the earlier you tip alcohol down your neck, the less equiped to deal with it.

Andy (last drink aged 23, now 45) If I could have carried on I would have.

Glad your here.
