just checking in...
just checking in...
...since I was so full of out-loud angst here last week, I felt I should check in and let you all know I'm doing well. Much better, in fact. I visited my priest Friday night & had a very good talk with him, had a great day at my volunteer job on Saturday (mucking stalls/feeding/grooming horses at a farm animal sanctuary), went to church on Sunday, and went to a meeting. All of these things served to lift my spirits and gave me strength and hope, two things I've not had a lot of lately.
Thank all of you again (again!) for giving me support when my heart is somewhere down in my boots. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I hope everyone is doing well and having continuing recovery success.
wishing you all hope and peace,
anne (more humbled today than last week - a good thing)

In the state of ILL. everything is full of rebirth from the spring. The flowers and trees are in bloom, the insects are buzzing around. Just getting up in the cool morning and knowing what a great day is in store makes for a smile on the face.
I've got a year old grand son that likes to come oever to see grand dad. He likes to go over to the closet and point at the stroller inside. We seem to get along great on our little trips down to the park. He likes to see new people and their pets. Somehow, I forgot what it was like with his mother.
Time slips past our hands like sand.
It's really nice to get up and do the things we love to do
Anne,
keep taking the time to do the things you like to do.
