I have a prescription for 60 percocet already filled sitting here in my room.

I'm not in pain.

I dont need them but I need them if you know what I mean.

I cant bring myself to dump the bottle. I had to pay for the doctor visit and the meds. Too much money to throw away. But if I take them, I might be throwing something else away.

how did I end up like this?????/

i agree with mackat call your sponsor for sure!!! you dont need them if your not in pain that is the giveaway right there. toss that bottle out! i had to rid my house of all evil (alcohol) when i first quit so now might be that time for you! good luck i hope you make it through it!

As hard as it is to believe, if you dump them and call your sponsor, you will be okay, we're alway's in fear of loosing that crutch, amazingly we persevere.

doctors frown but, if soemone you knew needed them that wasn't going to abuse them You could give the pills to them. I feel for the senior citizens having to pay for meds the way they do. Otherwise do with them like I did down the sink.

I am now 3 years without any pain medications and much much happier indeed.....

I always preferred flushing them down the toilet with a firm FY. :yelling

Hi Ama - I am one year clean from pain meds and life is so much better without them.
