Back from detox!!!

Hi, well,, I'm back, and gearing up for those really nasty cravings... I have been clean before, and I have relapsed before, I will do I can to "make" it this time. I would really like to stay clean this time, of course.... I've been through detox several times, more than my share, and do not want to go back to that crap again. I have been clean since the 6th. I did so much damage to my body this last relapse, I am so very lucky tobe here. But my body is still screaming in pain from the top of my head to the tips of my toes. Takes soooo long to heal. For now it's meetings, intensive outpatient treatment and NA. But,,,, I am wondering if people wll share what they do during those cravings, to get thru them without pulling out all of your hair??
I swear, I have had ccravings so badly, that I actually wanted to pull my hair out. Or and I should not say this, but I am being very honest, I have actually wanted to go beat the crap out of someone, and if you all knew me, you'd se shocked that I would even say that, but they do get bad at times, I have only experienced one so far, and that was at the treatment center I was at so I had to behave or they would have but me in the other section of the hospital which is meantal health, and I did no t want to be there.
I know the ones like call someone, but I bet most of you have had them very intensly at times.....
Oh, by the way, Well thanks... Becky*

Thanks so very much for all the info. I read it and will re-read it many more times I'm sure... Even copied some, for quick reference. Believe it or not, it has been 8 days and I haven't had one of those severe cravings yet, but I'm sure in time, they'll come, I have more resourses now to deal. Woke up this morning feeling really bad though, throat, chest cold, bet it has to do with what my body has been through in the last week. Hope it passes quickly. I will be going to a meeting tonight, always makes me feel so much better. Even when I only listen and do not speak. But again, thanks so much.... Luv, Becky
