Hi everyone My name is Trista I have been sober for almost 6 months. My drug of choice is /was heroin.Im 24 and i had been shooting up since i was 16 years old before that of course i drank like a fish and took all kinds of pills. anyways i have 2 children and im stoked because im actually here for my kids. this may seem cheesey but i want to put myself out there and share my strength experience and hope so thats why i did the introduction. thanks....

They always tell me you're supposed to do this for your self. I don't know but, I got kids my self and I don't want to hurt them ever again

I to have 2 beautiful daughters,,,,,,,some days i look at them and find it hard to believe that i turned my back on them...dam addiction,,,,,,,,if not for recovery i'd be dead by now i'm sure!!!! They are truly gifts from God and i believe that having mine back in my life is a gift for the hard work i'm doing. Stoked? You betcha!!! Me too!!!
Way to go on 6 months.keep trudgin the road to happy destiny!!!! oh, and coming back here of course!!!!

I'm glad you are gonna be there for your kids. It's so sad what we can do to those we love when controlled by drugs/alcohol.
