New Help

Hello my name is Jimmy and I have went through the 12 steps before and failed because I let go but now I have reached a turning point in my life where I am will to give it my best shot I am now six days clean and sober. I have downloaded the4 AA and NA adobe reader text on my computer and I nedd a sponser possibly in Garland.tx or Dallas, that I can speak with I have also have unlimed long distance on my phone so if anyone is not in this area I will accept phone please !!!! In need of help Thanks.

Welcome to Soberrecovery. **** is right. If you want to get into the program, face to face is best. Call the number and just start going to the meetings. Look forward to seeing you around. Glad you're here.

Welcome Jimmy, I'm in the same boat, gotta get back to mtgs and the steps. It ain't easy at first, I think walking into that first mtg after going out is the toughest. But hey, I've done it before (unfortunately) and found nothing but compassion!

Jimmy,welcome to SoberRecovery.Its always nice to see another fellow Texan here.I grew up in Farmers Branch myself.You might want to consider editing your post and remooving your phone # before it gets Googled and ends up no telling where.There are a lotta good meetings in the Dallas area.Try and get to one of them ASAP.Then ask someone to be your sponsor.And congrats on 7 days.
