Reaching out for a hand.................
Please can somebody out there help me hold myself up until I get more strength? Everything is up and down like a roller coaster now and it is so scary. Today I had to take things 5 minutes at a time which is good for the moment. I'm hanging in there and doing alright. I'm still clean today and I thank God for that. I know I'll make it through anything clean and sober.

You know the answer, you just said it. This is how I got sober and quit doing drugs.

Me again. I've taken a real interest in your stories because they hit so close to home. I was that way last month and pretty much up until last Wednesday when the detox began to take affect. I'm sorry you are going through this. I don't know what to say except stay clean. Even one drink every few days is enough to cloud your thinking and rationality. (Don't know if that is really a word but it sounds good.) Eat well and eat good food. Take vitamins. Get enough rest if possible. The more clear your mind the easier this will be.
I will be here until 1:30 pacific time if you want to go to a chat room or just talk this way.
Just take care of your body and things DO become easier. Try to think of other things than what is bothering you.

Hope, like me, you will never be strong enough...but also like me, with God's help, together you and He are strong enough. Hold His hand. It's right there for you to cling to. All you have to do is ask.
