Difficult Post from Denise (Justme2) Prayers Needed!!

Denise so sorry to hear about this. I hope you are taking care so you don't get an infection. I am still recuperating as well from an accident and I know how hard recuperation can be (4 months in a wheelchair).
Lucky for you that you have Anna supporting you. She is a blessing to us all. I take it by the fact that you can't type that your hands were badly burned. I feel your pain honey, and can completely sympathize with you. We never know why we had these mishaps in our lives, but I for one can tell you that I have been clean again since my accident and am grateful to have my life and my sobriety now. Some of us only learn the hard way.
When you are feeling better, please come back and keep us posted and let us help you back to recovery once again. I know how depressed we can get when we have physical limitations in our lives, but please try to keep strong and postitive.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you

drinking = unspeakable pain
hard to type.....i hope youre all ok...i have 2nd degree burns...but not complaining could have been worse...i've been dancing around with this way to long..and just maybe the big guy gave me an extra push friday night..showing me what hell is...dont know i dont remember what happened..was sleeping probably passed out..woke up dont know why...next thing hubby is standing there freaking out...yeah he got sick..never seen him so shook up before..burnt the side of my right leg....my left hand on side..its doing better today first time not wrapping it up...my right hand on the side...down my arm to my elbow..looks pretty gross.have to redress it every day cringing now...
but you know what im done drinking.....dont anyone roll your eyes and go oh yeah heard this one before.....hubby made me a promise that night i know it will be a struggle for him and i will help..cant stand the thought of drinking makes my stomache flip somethng aweful... cause it only means horrific pain to me now
please dont drink it will get you one way or another...dont listen to that voice.....i was spared...have no clue how i fell and i thank god i didnt land onto of the woodstove or hit my head face...cant imagine the pain that would be

you guys anna is an angel i know your all more then aware of that i will let her continue to sprout her wings in having helped me not once giving up.. i hope i can help others

thanks again everyone....remember drinking = unspeakalbe pain....it will kill us the bitter harsh reality of it....i will have scars but thats ok gonna see them as a gift a reminder...

hey denise big sister! i have only just read this, i hope you are feeling better, but i know burns can be very very painful. you take care, hop back in the bus, i can drive now, 6 days no drinks for me!! we can do this.
