Thanx Chy.It is a better day.I went to the store this afternoon and bought some more popcorn.I will be sure to set the timer for 4 mins this time and not 40! I have another movie to watch and a big batch of spaggetti cooking right now.Yes,life is good.

recovery continues in spite of all (even in spite of me)

I want to thank you so much for sharing yourself with us all. You know that you help each of us stay sober. I cannot speak for anyone else - but I always feel honored to have another person share their innermost feelings & who they really are & how they are feeling - honestly and openly.....whether it be in person, or over the internet. You are doing great and - as for me, you have helped "this alcoholic" immensely.

I am slowly watching my nephew kill hisself. there seems to be nothing i can do. and it makes me sick. watch the movie and think of the calories you are saving from not eating popcorn......and go get ice cream..mmmmmmmm lol

Mike,

I too have had a loss several years ago. My mother died suddenly. Thanks for showing me how you get through those moments when it all comes back and not drink and use. I know how it feels.
