I have been struggling with this since 1996 and I hope to get it right this time. My fiance is in jail now for a bad ua and he has had a very hard time quiting drinking, he stayed clean for 4 yrs when we first met but then we both began to use again. he was arrested for a dwi in 2003 and did 120 days when he got out in may we relapsed and now he is in again with 42 months hanging over his head. I am very scared and I don't want him to do more jail time, I guess I just need some kind words. thank you

This is a wonderful site and you can find a lot of support here. You may want to check out the friends and family forum. He will only quit when he wants to. Read around and see what applies to you.
