It is my first day also....here and my first day of staying clean.....Again.
I read your post and I also can not believe I have achieved what I have all the while stumbling through life....I feel like we are about to achieve the greatest reward yet.

January 1 is the best day to start recovering. Today I am celebrating 18 years.
Chase after sobriety the same way you went after drinking/drugging and 2005 will be your best year ever.

This is a great place to come to get some extra support. This coupled with regular attendance in aa, has gotten me through the past 8 months without a drink!!!!! Stick around and get to know us.
