Another one dies from addiction..
Thanks
Thank you all so much.I am alright just a little out of sorts today.I am off to AA in a bit.I just wanted to make sure he had some people in recovery to pray for him.It wasnt dying that scared me when I was using,it was living, now that I am not using I am left with the living problem,I am reminded to live in the now and what my primary purpose is,to stay sober and help other alcoholics and addicts achieve sobriety..Trish
Sometimes quickly someitmes slowly. This works unfortunately for the ones that don't make it as well. Drinking and drugging is a slow suicide. Happy are those that now want to live.
I'm so sorry for you over losing your friends. It's been said no one ever dies in vain due to this disease. Reading your post makes me more determined to keep my A$$ in a seat around the table. Everyone of us has a relapse in us, how many of us gets another shot at recovery
