Brain is Hurt. Still learning to live with it. Not easy. Memory. Feelings. Time experience. Intelligence.
70 % is my estimation.

But still sober and enjoying being sober so much. Alive. Enjoying nature. Colors. Flowers. Moving. Music. Loving. Working.

Enjoying the absence of the filthiness, the lies, the empty wallet, the long dark cold sweaty shaky hours. The fear. The pain. The urge. The despair.

Soberrecovery, amongst others, was there when I took my babysteps in becoming me. Thank you for existing.

x Me

Congratulations MeSober. Just as Hevyn says, I loved the way you described what sobriety has given you. All worth more than money can buy.

I'm still learning, growing too, and that's the good thing about it. It just keeps on giving.

Thanks for sharing, it's important to pass on the hope that we can all be sober if we work for it

Absolutely fantastic job MS! I did some damage too, but as you say, far better than the alternative.

Thanks for stopping by with such a great outcome to share.

We’re all a work in progress, MeS77, but all I see in your post is a happier and more positive person doing well. Well done on a brilliant milestone and many more to come.

Waw..Thank you guys for so many replies!! I recognise some names too. I really appreciate your support. People who never knew that hell will never be able to give the same support simply because they can't imagine. So I'm really really grateful to know you're with me. Especially the ones who mention brain damage as well. It is important to have the feeling not to be alone. That's why I will keep posting from time to time and that's why I still join AA. To be there for the next ones. Together we beat the monster. Thank you ❤
