500 days

* Everyday seems calm and hopeful despite the busyness and stress
* The voice that made me anxious and tricked me to drink has gone silent
* I plan to continue to read posts daily and post in Mags' and Sober 2xxx thread to keep myself accountable
* All my stress vanishes when I run. Ran 7k today in 45 mts
* When I wake up I seem to have so much energy and a stable mood. I sleep very peacefully without breaks as well
* At work place I am getting lot of appreciation for being sharp and giving attention to detail. I have asked for promotion to Principal and have got support
* Tomorrow the day might be hard, day after might be harder but the next day I will move on. I don't need alcohol. Time will heal everything
* I forgive myself, I am glad to keep myself. Thanks again, have a blessed day. Good night from Seattle.

Think back to your big spending big drinking ex-colleagues. I bet you wouldn’t want to be in their shoes ever again. I’m happy you made the right choice 🙂

Thanks all! Fully agree with you, Hodd. I don't want that kind of bad company anymore. I don't see that as fun, it's a gateway to pain.

That’s a huge change for the better, Calm. It’s baffling that we used to hang around drunks and think it was somehow good. Now we see them and think they’re a bit sad and lost. It’s not easy to shift from that drinking culture so well done again 🙂
