Remembering the good bits - Weekenders 24 - 27 February 2023
Hi everyone,
The tulip festival sounds magnificent - I'd not even heard of it up until now!
I'm in for another sober one please. So far, so good. Movie last night last and a coffee in town today while enjoying some sober down time. Very many congratulations Mags on your 500 weekends and thank you for all you do here. Well done to others clocking up the milestones - steady as you go...
Warm wishes to all as always. Forwards.

Congratulations on 6weeks Robbie. You’re doing great.
Happy Birthday CBS
Thanks for all the encouragement and congratulations. Truly grateful.
Bim, great photo. Thanks. I love the shape of the buildings. Reminds me a bit of Holland, ‘cept for the volcano.
Leigh, I hope you get to visit the tulip festival. I bet it’s magnificent to see in real life.

End of Day 468 - Went to the nearby pizza place after a long time. Used to go there bcos of the $4 ipa pints + delicious pizza. Today I had a nice custom made pizza with a coke. Enjoyed the experience. Bottom line is I realized whatever tasted good with beer tastes as good with coke.
Good night from Seattle.

Just popping in to say hello and nice to see lots of good people around!
After 8 months sober I couldn’t take anymore and drank twice last week. I am struggling with mental health quite a bit. I’ve tried all sorts and going to my GP just isn’t working as they aren’t really helping, I am on a list to get help which I was told was at least 6 months long.
I’ve also lost more than 20kgs so I am thin now and have no energy since the chemo radiotherapy.
I am sober today, and for that I am grateful and it’s inspiring to see many of you doing so well xx

Sunday blessings, all.
Good afternoon, Weekenders.
Congratulations on your sober time, Mags. Robbie, great going to you as well.
Manta, best wishes to you. Please stay close. Hopefully something fortuitous might happen so you don’t have to wait 6 months.
Wishing everyone else the best for what is left of the weekend.
I really enjoy the peace and serenity that being sober on a Sunday afternoon gives. Amongst many other things, for me it makes Monday seem much less daunting!
