Remembering the good bits - Weekenders 24 - 27 February 2023
Congratulation Mags on your 500th weekend sober 🎉🎂 and thanks for this thread every week.
Today I'm 6 weeks sober and I'm in a much better placenow than I was 6 weeks ago with a much more positive outlook on life.
Have a good day everyone.

Mags, that is awesome. And per my norm here is my dance
Tica, great job!
Still icy here, we were going to move more things, we will see. Birthday weekend for me (birthday is Mon). We usually don't really do anything, but maybe this year we should.

Cityboy, the tulip festival is a big deal around here and it's coming up. You can see Mount Baker for miles and miles along the I-5 corridor (the road you probably took, it's the freeway) - you'd remember it! Not as big as Mount Rainier, but impressive.

Wow Mags 500 weekends is impressive!!! Congratulations.
I am enjoying a long weekend at the beach. Turned 61 yesterday. The weather has been glorious. Too warm for February but I will enjoy it in spite of climate change concerns. Head back home tomorrow.
Hope everyone is enjoying their sober weekend!

Bim, that photo is gorgeous.
We were in the area of the tulip festival (Puget Sound/San Juan Islands) about five years ago but too late in the year for any tulips. The hotel where we stayed, though, had many photographs similar to yours hanging on the walls. We learned that they were fully booked, three years out, for tulip-time and that it was the same for most hotels, B&Bs and VRBOs.
It is on our bucket list.
